I decided to do some more in depth research into the NME cover because I really love the way that the composition and layout creates the exact feel that I want for my music publication. This task allowed me to learn about how the codes and conventions help to influence the target audience and the representation of the band. If the codes and conventions all work really well together, then the cover as a whole will work really well.
